We create all our beauty products with you in mind, therefore each item is carefully developed leaving out harsh chemicals + ingredients such as phthalates, parabens, and other known skin-irritants. We believe in using only high-quality, transparent ingredients and using them in their rawest, organic form. Our items are scented with therapeutic grade essential oils, natural plant-based fragrances, and premium fragrance oils that are always phthalate free + skin safe. We love using all natural botanicals, clays, and earth-based colorants. All items are handmade in small batches to ensure freshness + purity. They are great for people with sensitive skin and anyone who is looking for a more minimalistic bath & beauty routine, without compromising on quality.

ABOUT JENNIFER

Before Sugar & Chic, Jennifer worked in the fashion industry for close to a decade. She lived in Los Angeles and was the Operations Director for Anna Beck, where she learned the ins and outs of how to successfully run a small business. 

The idea behind Sugar & Chic was born out of Jennifer’s personal self-care journey. After enduring the physical and mental toll of a demanding job, she began exploring ways to ground and relax herself, ultimately discovering the benefits of essential oil bath soaks and scrubs. Soaking in a warm bath became her refuge from the stresses of the outside world, leading her to create products that could help others find their own moments of peace and relaxation.

In early 2016, Jennifer and her soon-to-be hubby decided it was time to head back East and made charming Charleston, SC home. It was then that Jennifer decided it was time to take the leap to start her own business.

Jennifer currently works from her studio located in Mount Pleasant, SC. Between raising her two young children and running Sugar & Chic, Jennifer's days are full of love, gratitude, and hard work as she balances her role as a mom and business owner. She pours her heart into every aspect of Sugar & Chic, from customer service to photography and new product launches.
